Aegis Consulting's Command and Tactics course is a foundational study of tactical leadership on the battlefield, in the boardroom and in life. This course provides the student with a grasp of the concept of conflict as a system which can be objectified, modeled, analyzed and managed.

This class embraces tactical concepts espoused by the great historical leaders in the field such as; Sun Tzu, Musashi, Napoleon, Lee, Clauzewitz, Frontinus and Hannibal, the manuals of the U.S. Army and the negotiative tactics espoused by modern psychology and promoted in corporate America and our Army. Our course draws upon literally thousands of years of compiled knowledge and understanding of conflict distilled into a six month introduction to the art.

Students study command and its tools, including the rational construction of orders, logistics and its relationship to command, maneuver and the benefits of positioning in controlling a conflict and the value of effective communication in conflict. The student will sit among others with the instructor in roundtable discussions and in approximately bi-weekly laboratory exercises designed to convey to the student a clearer understanding of their choices and the results, and to provide experience in the art of constructing an informed choice.
